Travertine: A Beautiful Soft Tile That Brings a Feeling Of Space to Your Room
Travertine is a cross between limestone and marble and has a soft, delicate look and feel. It can be used on floors and walls and can help to create a sense of space in a small room or create a peaceful, tranquil feeling to large areas. Travertine colours are warm, earthy tones and range from silvery greens, light honey and deeper browns. All travertine tiles will have a visible vein.
Travertine works well as floor tiles in all rooms, on interior walls for splash backs or mosaics. Also good for sinks, sink or fire place surrounds. Note, Travertine is not as hard as granite so it is not suitable for kitchen work tops.
