Sandstone is a rock composed of sand-sized particles of quartz that have been eroded, deposited by the wind or water and then bonded together with natural cement minerals in the ground water.

Over time this is compacted to form this course grained sedimentary rock. It is often characterised by a granular surface, our tiles are available as either hand-cut, giving a smoother finish, or riven, a textured feel. One of the main attractions of sandstone is they feel warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They are also semi-porous offering good durability and stain resistance.

It is an extremely hard and tough material making it suitable for both domestic and commercial use whether inside or out.
